Dr. Eleni Plessa, Peadiatrician

Graduated with Honours from the International Medical School at Sapienza University of Rome.

Interned at Paidon Penteli Children's Hospital, at Zakynthos General Hospital, in the neonatal ward of the Helena Venizelou Maternity Hospital and in the neonatal ICU of the Paidon Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital.

Founding member and Quality Assurance Supervisor of an innovative private medical practice offering healthcare services to international travellers (www.zantemed.gr). The practice was awarded the Excellence in international patience care – TEMOS certification and has maintained key collaborations with global travel organisations and insurance companies.

Research Partner of the Alpha Institute of Biomedical Sciences, in the department of paediatric infections. Eleni has published articles in highly influential international scientific journals and has participated in pan-European and global conferences.

Holder of a European Resuscitation Council certificate in Newborn Life Support.

Married mother of one child.

Fluent in English, Greek, Italian and French.
